He has recruited over one hundred research faculty and mentored them to be successful full professors. Major part of research work done by Dr. Reddy is related to cloning, expression and purification of enzymes, which form the primary foundation for Indus Gene. Dr. Reddy promoted Indus Gene Expressions Inc., a start-up venture, incorporated in the United States in 2006 with an intention of establishing manufacturing base in Andhra Pradesh, India and marketing the products in overseas.
